understand the nuances of an "information rich" curriculum vita (cv)
understand the process of selecting top five intellectual products and describing contributions clearly
understand cultivation of references for future Promotion & Tenure evaluations
become familiar with the schedule of the Promotion & Tenure process
understand expectations and responsibilities of Promotion & Tenure committees
reduce anxiety concerning the process by being prepared
appreciate institutional goals of maintaining high standards, fairly applied
