The Integrated Interactive Bioinformatic Visualization System ( )
allows the biological scientist to interactively explore, browse and annotate
multiple datasets and create biological knowledge. By applying Computer
Sciences gains in data visualization and human-computer interaction
to the realm of Biological Science using principles of information design,
will prove
to be an invaluable tool in helping biologists understand the meaning
and use of genetic structures.
Who is developing ?
is a multi-disciplinary
collaboration between Georgia Techs School of Biology, College of
Computing, GVU Lab and School of Literature, Communication & Culture.
The principals in the project are:
Dr.
William Ribarsky
Dr.
Chris Shaw
Prof.
Diane Gromala
Dr.
Mark Borodovsky
Dr.
